Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has partnered with local churches around the world to deliver 157 million Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts to children in need in 160 countries. Each one is packed full of fun toys, school supplies, and hygiene items by a family or individual and is sent with prayer that the child who receives it will experience God’s love through their simple gifts.

Our church members and families have been filling and donating Operation Christmas Shoe boxes for many years and begin this in the fall of each year. Shoe boxes are due by November 18, 2019. This year our church has over 70 boxes to donate.

Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Conference

On Saturday, November 9, 2019 our church member men and other local Christian men attended the one day
Iron Sharpens Iron National Men’s One Day Equipping Conference held in Syracuse. Iron Sharpens Iron
reaches both the mind and hearts of men today. The conference continues to be used by God to inspire and
train the men of God.

Our church once again participated in the yearly Community Fest. We started the day with a canopy and table outside the front of the church handing out bibles, devotionals and bracelets, pencils and stickers for the kids as they walked by with their parents.
